Pemgarda (pemivibart) is approved under an EUA, or emergency use authorization, for the pre-exposure prophylaxis of COVID-19. There are currently no generic alternatives. It may be covered by your Medicare or insurance plan, but some pharmacy coupons or cash prices could help offset the cost.

NIVOLUMAB; RELATLIMAB treats skin cancer. It works by helping your immune system slow or stop the spread of cancer cells. It is a monoclonal antibody.

SUTIMLIMAB treats cold agglutinin disease, an autoimmune condition that breaks down red blood cells in the body. It works by stopping the breakdown of red blood cells, which reduces the need for blood transfusions. It is a monoclonal antibody.

RAVULIZUMAB treats certain blood conditions that can cause low levels of red blood cells (anemia) and blood clots, such as atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS) and paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH). It works by slowing down an overactive immune system, which reduces the breakdown of red blood cells. It also prevents blood cells (platelets) from forming a clot. It may also be used to treat a condition that causes muscles to easily weaken or fatigue (myasthenia gravis). It can be used to treat neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), a condition that causes inflammation in the nerves of the eyes and spinal cord. It is a monoclonal antibody.

BEZLOTOXUMAB prevents infections caused by the bacteria C. diff (Clostridioides difficile). It is used with antibiotics. It works by binding to a toxin made by the bacteria. This decreases symptoms, such as diarrhea. It is a monoclonal antibody.

BRODALUMAB treats psoriasis. It works by slowing down an overactive immune system. It is a monoclonal antibody.

TEZEPELUMAB prevents and treats the symptoms of asthma. It works by decreasing inflammation of the airways, making it easier to breathe. It is prescribed when other asthma medications have not worked well enough. Do not use it to treat a sudden asthma attack. It is a monoclonal antibody.

BUROSUMAB treats low phosphorus levels caused by a tumor or genetic condition. It works increasing levels of phosphorus in your body. This makes your bones stronger and less likely to break (fracture). It is a monoclonal antibody.

ANIFROLUMAB treats certain types of lupus. It works by slowing down an overactive immune system, which reduces inflammation and other symptoms of lupus. It is a monoclonal antibody.

CRIZANLIZUMAB prevents the symptoms of sickle cell disease, such as pain crises and acute chest syndrome. It works by preventing blood cells from clumping together. This increases blood flow and the amount of oxygen that gets to your tissues. It is a monoclonal antibody.
