How do I start using my benefits?
Once you enroll, you can immediately get discounts on medication by using your Companion card at participating pharmacies. You can also get immediate access to our network of dental, vision, lab, and imaging partners by visiting the benefits portal. To get online care, make sure you’re logged in to your GoodRx account and visit goodrx.com/care.
How many medications are available for free?
More than 200 medications are available for free at at least one pharmacy with your Companion membership. Hundreds more are under $10.
What if my medication is not on the free list?
More than 200 medications are available free, but if yours isn’t one of those, you can still get deep discounts on most medications. Simply search for your medication on GoodRx to see pricing, and show your Companion card at the pharmacy to save.
Do I need to submit a reimbursement to receive discounted services?
No reimbursement is needed. Similar to using a coupon, Companion gives you instant discounts on prescription medication, dental care, vision care, lab services, imaging services, and online care visits. Simply show your Companion card from your GoodRx account at the pharmacy counter.
Is there a family plan available?
No—at this time, GoodRx Companion is only available to individual adults.

Do I need a prescription to get free medications?
Yes, you will still need a prescription in order to access free medications with a Companion membership. Membership includes $19 online care visits, through which you can see a healthcare professional and get a prescription for many common conditions or needs—often the same day.
