Immunodeficiency

Immunodeficiency is a condition in which the immune system does not work properly. Primary immune deficiencies are not caused by other medications or diseases. The immune system protects the body from antigens such as viruses, bacteria, and toxins. Without a healthy immune system the body is more prone to infections and diseases.

Treatment for immunodeficiency includes boosting antibodies in the body. A common drug class used to treat immunodeficiency is the human immunoglobulin Gs drug class.
