Clomid (
clomiphene) is used to treat ovulatory dysfunction in women trying to conceive, such as those with
PCOS. Clomid is an
estrogen agonist/antagonist, which works by changing hormone levels in the body. Clomid is avalible as a tablet. There is currently a generic for Clomid, but it is being phased out. It may be covered by your Medicare or insurance plan, but some pharmacy coupons or cash prices could help offset the cost.
