The following side effects may get better over time as your body gets used to the medication. Let your healthcare provider know immediately if you continue to experience these symptoms or if they worsen over time.
Common Side Effects
- Low white blood cell counts (up to 84%)
- Diarrhea (64%)
- Nausea (64%)
- Fatigue (51%)
- Hair loss (45%)
- Constipation (37%)
- Higher blood sugar levels (37%)
- Low albumin in the blood (35%)
- Vomiting (35%)
- Lower appetite (30%)
Less Common Side Effects
- Changes in liver or kidney blood tests
- Low blood magnesium, potassium, or sodium levels
Trodelvy serious side effects
Contact your healthcare provider immediately if you experience any of the following.
- Low white blood cell count: fever, sore throat, cough, trouble catching your breath, chills, or pain or burning when urinating
- Severe diarrhea: having 4 or more stools per day than usual, feeling dizzy or lightheaded
- Infusion-related reactions: shortness of breath, chills, flushing, chest discomfort, swelling, or feeling itchy

Side effects that you should report to your care team as soon as possible:
- Allergic reactions—skin rash, itching, hives, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat
- Infection—fever, chills, cough, or sore throat
- Infusion reactions—chest pain, shortness of breath or trouble breathing, feeling faint or lightheaded
- Low red blood cell level—unusual weakness or fatigue, dizziness, headache, trouble breathing
- Severe or prolonged diarrhea
Side effects that usually do not require medical attention (report these to your care team if they continue or are bothersome):
- Constipation
- Diarrhea
- Fatigue
- Hair loss
- Loss of appetite
- Nausea
- Vomiting
