Toujeo Max is used to control high blood sugar in adults and children who are 6 years of age and older with diabetes mellitus, including type 1 and type 2 diabetes. It is available in two pen options: Toujeo SoloStar and Toujeo Max SoloStar. There is currently no generic for Toujeo Max. It is covered by most Medicare and insurance plans, manufacturer and pharmacy coupons may help offset the out-of-pocket cost.
