Humalog 50/50 is used to control blood sugar levels in diabetes mellitus, including diabetes type 1 and diabetes type 2. Humalog 50/50 is less popular than other insulins. There is currently no generic alternative for Humalog 50/50 but less expensive biosimilar versions may be available in the future.
