Opdivo Qvantig is part of the PD-1/PD-L1 Inhibitors class and treats Esophageal Cancer, Lung Cancer, Skin Cancer and other conditions. PD-1/PD-L1 Inhibitors are used to treat melanoma that has metastasized or that can't be surgically removed. They suppress a protein that can keep the immune system from recognizing and attacking cancer cells. Opdivo Qvantig is only available as a brand name drug.
