Stomach Cancer

Stomach (gastric) cancer refers to cancer originating in the stomach. In early stages, it may be asymptomatic, meaning there are no symptoms, or may have nonspecific symptoms such as indigestion or loss of appetite. This means it is often not caught until it has already reached later stages.

Treatment for renal cancer includes surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy. Some drug classes used to treat stomach cancer are anthracyclines (doxorubicin), nucleoside metabolic inhibitors (fluorouracil), and HER2 receptor antagonists (Herceptin).
