If you live in Florida, we have some good news for your wallet: Walgreens is now testing a new pilot program geared at saving customers money on their prescriptions and storewide products. The program, called Walgreens Plus, is now being tested in 17 Walgreens stores in and around Gainesville, Florida.

What does membership include?

The Walgreens Plus program costs $20 per year and membership includes the following:

Along with the above features, Walgreens is testing another benefit for Walgreens Plus – specimen collection services through LabCorp, a diagnostic company, that will be offered at 10 of the 17 chosen Florida locations. Read here for more information and to schedule an appointment.

When will this program be available in my state?

Walgreens will be testing this program (and ironing out the kinks) over the next 12 to 18 months at the pilot stores in Florida. If all goes well, Walgreens will expand the program to stores across the country. We will keep you updated!

For more information, read the press release from Walgreens here or visit the Walgreens Plus page at walgreens.com/plus
