Nurtec

Nurtec (rimegepant) is used to prevent and treat migraine headaches with or without aura. Nurtec is a CGRP Receptor Antagonist, which works by preventing a protein that is released during migraine attacks. Nurtec is available as a dose pack of 8 75mg orally disintegrating tablets. There are currently no generic alternatives for Nurtec. It is covered by some Medicare and insurance plans, but some pharmacy coupons or cash prices may be lower.
