Gammagard (immune globulin infusion) is used to treat primary humoral immunodeficinecy. Gammagard is a
human immunoglobulin g, which works by producing antibodies to help the body protect itself from infections due to a weakened immune system. The most common form of Gammgard is a 50ml bottle of infusion. It is also available in 10ml, 25ml, 100ml, 200ml, and 300ml botltes of infusion. There are currently no generic alternatives for Gammagard. It is covered by some Medicare and insurance plans.
