GoodRx has been recognized with four honors in the 2026 Digital Health Awards, including two Gold Awards, one Silver Award, and one Merit Award.

Presented by the Health Information Resource Center, the Digital Health Awards recognize high-quality digital health resources that help consumers make informed decisions about their health. This year’s awards celebrate GoodRx content that empowers people with practical, evidence-based guidance on topics ranging from menopause and emergency care to prescription drug access and insurance coverage.

Gold Award winners

Our article, Experiencing Hair Loss Due to Menopause? Here’s What to Do About It, earned a Gold Award for its comprehensive, patient-centered approach to a common but often overlooked menopause symptom. Hair loss can be distressing, and many people aren’t aware that hormonal changes during menopause may play a significant role. This piece helps readers understand why hair loss happens, what treatment options are available, and when to seek medical care.

GoodRx also received a Gold Award for an interactive quiz, Should I Go to Urgent Care or the ER? By making complex healthcare decisions easier to understand, this quiz helps readers seek appropriate care while avoiding unnecessary costs and delays.

Silver Award winner

Our article highlighting notable FDA medication approvals earned a Silver Award for its clear, accessible reporting on emerging treatment options and advances in healthcare. As new therapies reach the market, patients and caregivers often struggle to understand what those treatments are, who they may help, and why they matter. This piece translates regulatory news into practical information that readers can use to stay informed.

Merit Award winner

GoodRx received a Merit Award for a series of articles on insurance formularies, which helps readers navigate one of the most confusing aspects of healthcare coverage.

Understanding formularies has become increasingly important as coverage rules grow more complex and patients are asked to shoulder more of the cost burden. Insurers frequently change which medications are covered, require prior authorizations, or apply stricter rules to high-cost drugs like GLP-1 medications. For many people, this can result in unexpected denials at the pharmacy counter, delays in treatment, and uncertainty about what to do next.

The series breaks down these challenges into clear, practical guidance readers can use in real-world situations. Through articles covering formularies, coverage changes, prior authorization requirements, noncovered medications, and GLP-1 access, the series explains not only how insurance decisions are made, but also how patients can respond when barriers arise.

These awards reflect GoodRx’s ongoing commitment to delivering trustworthy, accessible health information that helps people make informed decisions about their care. We’re honored to be recognized by the Digital Health Awards for our work to provide practical health information that empowers people to take action and improve their health outcomes.
