The following side effects may get better over time as your body gets used to the medication. Let your healthcare provider know immediately if you continue to experience these symptoms or if they worsen over time.
Common Side Effects
- Muscle, bone or joint pain (41%)
- Nausea (35%)
- Higher blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels (up to 30%)
- Signs of stress to the liver on blood tests (up to 29%)
- Feeling very tired (26%)
- Lower hemoglobin levels (26%)
Less Common Side Effects
- Vomiting
- Not feeling hungry
- Diarrhea
- Constipation
- Headache
- Stomach pain
- Hot flash
