Nuvaxovid Side Effects

The following side effects may get better over time as your body gets used to the medication. Let your healthcare provider know immediately if you continue to experience these symptoms or if they worsen over time.

Common Side Effects

  • Tenderness at the injection site
  • Pain at the injection site
  • Muscle pain
  • Headache
  • Tiredness
  • Feeling unwell

Less Common Side Effects

  • Joint pain
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Fever
  • Redness at the injection site
  • Swelling at the injection site

Nuvaxovid serious side effects

Contact your healthcare provider immediately if you experience any of the following.

  • Inflammation or swelling of the heart: chest pain, shortness of breath, a racing heart
  • Serious allergic reaction: trouble breathing; rash; hives; swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat
