Aimovig

Aimovig (erenumab-aooe) is used to treat migraines. Aimovig is a CGRP receptor antagonist, which works by preventing a protein that is released during migraine attacks. The most common form of Aimovig is a 140mg/ml sureclick. It is also available in 70mg/ml sureclicks and syringes. There are currently no generic alternatives for Aimovig. It is covered by some Medicare and insurance plans, but some pharmacy coupons or cash prices may be lower.
