RANIBIZUMAB treats eye conditions, such as macular degeneration, macular edema, and retinopathy. It works by slowing the growth of abnormal new blood vessels in the eye. It also reduces the amount of fluid that leaks from these blood vessels. This helps maintain vision. It is a monoclonal antibody.
