Ethinyl Estradiol/Norethindrone (Nortrel 1/35, Alyacen 1/35, Cyclafem 1/35, Dasetta 1/35, Pirmella 1/35, Nylia 1/35) is a moderately priced oral contraceptive. The products combine two types of female hormones, an estrogen and a progestin. They are used to prevent ovulation and pregnancy. It is more popular than comparable drugs.
