Neupogen (filgrastim) is used to treat neutropenia. Neupogen is also available as a biosimilar. Biosimilars are biologic drugs that are similar to the original medication with no meaningful differences in effectiveness or safety. Neupogen may be covered by your Medicare or insurance plan.
