Linzess

Linzess (linaclotide) treats irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) with constipation. It may also treat chronic constipation. Linzess is a GC-C agonist which works speeding up transit through the intestine. The most common form of Linzess is a 145mcg tablet. It is also avalible as a 72mcg tablet and a 290mcg tablet. There are currently no generic alterantives for Linzess. It is covered by some Medicare and insurance plans, but some pharmacy coupons or cash prices may be lower.
