- Low white blood cells (up to 79%)
- Low platelets (79%)
- Lower hemoglobin levels (58%)
- Tiredness (29%)
- Nausea (25%)
- Bleeding (24%)
- Higher liver enzyme levels (up to 22%)
- Headache (22%)
- Constipation (20%)
- Mouth sores (18%)
- Trouble breathing (17%)
- Dizziness (16%)
- Diarrhea (16%)
Less Common Side Effects
- Muscle pain
- Joint pain
- Lower appetite
- Cough
- Rash
- Swelling
- Neutropenic fever
- Changes in blood sugar levels
- Changes in electrolyte levels
Note: Side effects listed were reported from people after only the first treatment cycle of Inqovi (decitabine / cedazuridine).
Inqovi serious side effects
Contact your healthcare provider immediately if you experience any of the following.
- Serious infection: temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit, with or without other symptoms like chills, cough, muscle aches, very fast heartbeat, or confusion
- Serious bleeding: nosebleed that takes a long time to stop, unexplained bruising, blood in stool, blood in urine

Side effects that you should report to your care team as soon as possible:
- Allergic reactions—skin rash, itching, hives, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat
- Infection—fever, chills, cough, sore throat, wounds that don't heal, pain or trouble when passing urine, general feeling of discomfort or being unwell
- Low red blood cell level—unusual weakness or fatigue, dizziness, headache, trouble breathing
- Unusual bruising or bleeding
