Attruby is part of the TTR Stabilizers class and treats Hereditary Transthyretin-Mediated Amyloidosis. TTR stabilizers are used to treat transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy, which causes symptoms like irregular heartbeat, fatigue, and shortness of breath. They work by stabilizing protein levels in the heart and peripheral nervous system. Attruby is only available as a brand name drug.

There are currently no generic alternatives for Wainua. It is covered by some Medicare and insurance plans.
