Photrexa is part of the Photoenhancers class and treats Visual Distortion. Photoenhancers are used to treat visual distortions including astigmatism and myopia as well as certain skin conditions. They are used with UV light to strengthen the cornea to prevent further progression and distortion. Photrexa is only available as a brand name drug.

Photrexa Viscous is only available as a brand name drug.

VERTEPORFIN treats choroidal neovascularization, the growth of abnormal blood vessels in the eye that can cause vision loss. It is used in combination with ultraviolet light therapy. It works by closing up leaky blood vessels. This helps maintain vision.
