About Auvi-Q

Auvi-Q (epinephrine) is used to treat anaphylaxis. Auvi-Q is a catecholamine, which works by tightening blood vessels and opening up airways in the lungs. The most common form of Auvi-Q is a package of two 0.3mg autoinjectors. It is also available in packages of two 0.1mg, or 0.15mg, autoinjectors. There are currently no generic alternatives for Auvi-Q. It is covered by some Medicare and insurance plans, but some pharmacy coupons or cash prices may be lower.
