Aminophylline is part of the Methylxanthines class and treats Asthma. Methylxanthines are used to relieve wheezing and shortness of breath in treat asthma and COPD. They work by relaxing airways in the lungs to allow more air inhalation. Aminophylline is only available as a generic drug.
