Abrilada (adalimumab-afzb) is used to treat rheumatoid, psoriatic and juvenille idiopathic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, uveitis, Crohn's disease, plaque psoriasis and ulcerative colitis. Abrilada is a biosimilar for humira (adalimumab). Biosimilars are biologic drugs that are similar to the original medication with no meaningful differences in effectiveness or safety. Abrilada is a TNF blocker which works by reducing inflammation throughout the body. The most common form of Abrilada is a carton of two 40mg/0.8mg syringes. It is also available as a vial.
