Cats are normally very spry, but arthritis can be a very abrupt change to their daily life. What were once normal activities may become harder and your furry friend might need some additional help. While treatments can help reduce some pain, they may need you to modify the environment to meet their needs.

Luckily, there are easy adjustments you can make to your home that can help your cat with arthritis. Investing in things like low-walled litter boxes, orthopedic beds, and pet stairs can help reduce the strain to your cat’s joints. When given the right environment and medical treatment, cats with arthritis can live just as happily as your average feline.
