Ghanasyam Bey, DVM, is from Cleveland, Ohio, and attended Princeton University for undergraduate studies. After a year of biology research at Duke University, he attended Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine. He graduated with a goal to pursue a specialty in veterinary cardiology. After veterinary school, he completed multiple 1-year speciality training programs, including internal medicine and cardiology. Ultimately, Ghanasyam elected to accept a position as a full-time emergency small animal veterinarian in California. During a typical day, he sees a variety of vet cases ranging from mild limping or upset stomach to critical trauma or serious allergic reactions. Being in California, he also sees occasional rattlesnake bites. Outside of work, Ghanasyam has two cats named Maximus and Roma. He enjoys fitness, music, film, and travel. He also loves exploring the outdoors, especially the beautiful coastline of Southern California.
