Oxiconazole, also known by its brand name Oxistat, is a topical azole antifungal that's used for many different types of fungal skin infections, such as jock itch and athlete's foot. The lotion is approved for adults and is brand name only. But the cream is available for people 12 years and older as a brand-name medication and lower-cost generic.
