Novolin N (human insulin) is an intermediate-acting type of insulin. Insulin helps to control blood sugar levels in diabetes mellitus, including diabetes type 1 and diabetes type 2. Novolin N is less popular than other insulins. There is currently no generic alternative for Novolin N but less expensive biosimilar versions may be available in the future.
