Chlophedianol is a cough suppressant. It relieves coughing by calming the cough control center in the brain.
Pyrilamine is an antihistamine. It blocks histamine, a natural chemical in your body that causes congestion (stuffy nose), watery eyes, and sneezing.

Ninjacof (chlophedianol / pyrilamine) can make you feel sleepy or dizzy. Don't drive or do anything that requires a lot of focus and attention until you know how this medication affects you.
Don't drink alcohol while taking Ninjacof (chlophedianol / pyrilamine) because doing so can worsen sleepiness.
Though rare, children who take medications with an antihistamine, such as Ninjacof (chlophedianol / pyrilamine) , might become overly excited or energetic. Let your child's pediatrician know if this happens to your child. They can recommend other options for your child.
Don't start any new medications while taking Ninjacof (chlophedianol / pyrilamine) , especially other cough suppressants (antitussives) or antihistamines, without talking to your primary care provider or pharmacist first. Doing so can raise your risk of severe side effects, including seizures and extreme sleepiness.
Stop taking Ninjacof (chlophedianol / pyrilamine) and talk to your primary care provider if your symptoms last longer than a week or you also have a fever, rash, or headache. Also contact them if you develop any new symptoms. These might be signs that you have a more serious condition that needs more medical attention.

Using more than one medication containing a cough suppressant and antihistamine, including products used on the skin, can lead to an accidental overdose. This can result in serious side effects, including daytime sleepiness, dizziness, seizures, hallucinations (seeing things that aren't real), or even death.

Each 5 mL of Ninjacof (chlophedianol / pyrilamine) contains 12.5 mg of chlophedianol and 12.5 mg of pyrilamine.
People ages 12 years and older: The typical dose is 10 mL by mouth every 6 to 8 hours. The maximum dose is 30 mL in 24 hours, or as directed by your primary care provider.
Children ages 6 to under 12 years old: The typical dose is 5 mL by mouth every 6 to 8 hours. The maximum dose is 15 mL in 24 hours, or as directed by your child's pediatrician.
Children under 6 years old: Ask your child's pediatrician.
Currently take monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or have taken an MAOI within the past 2 weeks
