Monopril

Fosinopril (Monopril) is a moderately priced drug used alone or together with other medicines to treat high blood pressure. This drug is less popular than comparable drugs. It is only available in generic form, and in combination with the diuretic hydrochlorothiazide (as fosinopril/hctz). Brand name Monopril had the same active ingredient, but has been discontinued. Generic fosinopril is covered by most Medicare and insurance plans, but pharmacy coupons or cash prices may be lower.
