Lupron Depot (leoprolide acetate) is used to treat endometriosis and prostate cancer. Lupron Depot is a gondotropin releasing hormon agonist, which works by decreasing certain steroids in the body. The most common form of Lupron Depot is a 3.75mg prefilled syringe. It is also available as a 7.5mg, 11.25mg, 22.5mg, 30mg, and 45mg prefilled syringe. There are currently no generic alternatives for Lupron Depot. It is covered by some Medicare and insurance plans.

With the Patient Assistance Program from AbbVie, you can receive up to 12 months of medication at no cost to you if you are approved. You can also reapply as needed.
