Levamlodipine Side Effects

The following side effects may get better over time as your body gets used to the medication. Let your healthcare provider know immediately if you continue to experience these symptoms or if they worsen over time.

Common Side Effects

  • Swelling (2-11%)
  • Tiredness (5%)
  • Fast heart rate (1-5%)
  • Nausea (3%)
  • Dizziness (1-3%)
  • Flushing (1-3%)
  • Stomach pain (2%)

Less Common Side Effects

  • Slow heart rate
  • Fainting
  • Constipation
  • Tremor
  • Back pain
  • Weight changes
  • Anxiety
  • Trouble breathing
  • Dry mouth

Levamlodipine serious side effects

Contact your healthcare provider immediately if you experience any of the following.

  • Low blood pressure: dizziness, lightheadedness, pale skin, feeling faint
  • Chest pain or heart attack: radiating jaw pain, crushing chest pain, fast heartbeat, chest pain
