Terazosin is an inexpensive drug used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men and to treat high blood pressure in both men and women. It is slightly most popular than comparable drugs. Terazosin is only available as a generic drug; all brands have been discontinued. Generic terazosin is covered by most Medicare and insurance plans, but some pharmacy coupons and cash prices may be lower.
