Humira (adalimumab) is used to treat rheumatoid, psoriatic and juvenille idiopathic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, plaque psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa, Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Humira is also available as a biosimilar. Biosimilars are biologic drugs that are similar to the original medication with no meaningful differences in effectiveness or safety. Humira may be covered by your Medicare or insurance plan.
