Typical dosage for Gatifloxacin

Your optometrist or ophthalmologist will give you specific instructions on how often you should use Gatifloxacin. In general:

  • Day 1: Place 1 drop in the affected eye(s) every 2 hours, up to 8 times a day.
  • Days 2 to 7: Place 1 drop in the affected eye(s) 2 to 4 times daily.

You only have to use Gatifloxacin while you are awake.
