About bacitracin
BACITRACIN prevents and treats skin infections caused by minor cuts, scrapes, or burns. It works by killing or preventing the growth of bacteria on the skin. It belongs to a group of medications called antibiotics. It will not treat yeast infections or infections caused by viruses.
