Ozempic (semaglutide) is an injectable medication that treats Type 2 diabetes in adults. Common Ozempic side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach pain. Constipation, headaches, and bloating are also possible. These side effects are often worse when starting Ozempic and after dose increases. For many people, they improve over time.
