How long does it take for ciclopirox to work on toenail fungus?

Ciclopirox can take several months to fully treat toenail fungal infections. You may not notice improvement in your toenail(s) for at least 6 months after starting ciclopirox. And you'll need to use the medication for a total of 48 weeks (11 months) to make sure the infection is fully treated.
