Ana Gascon has over 15 years of writing and editing experience, with 8 years in health and medical content work. She is a versatile health and medical content creator who writes about acute conditions, chronic diseases, mental health challenges, and health equity.
She is a member of the Association of Health Care Journalists, and she recently won a full scholarship to a writer's conference for emerging young adult authors. She is also a creative writing teacher at Coastal State Prison in Savannah, Georgia, where she is a volunteer with the Georgia Department of Corrections and is starting a creative writing program.
Ana graduated with a communications degree from Florida State University.
