The following side effects may get better over time as your body gets used to the medication. Let your healthcare provider know immediately if you continue to experience these symptoms or if they worsen over time.
Common Side Effects
- Nausea (30%)
- Dizziness (17%)
- Vomiting (16%)
- Headache (12%)
- Drowsiness (8%)
Less Common Side Effects
- Loss of appetite
- Confusion
- Movement problems
- Speech problems
- Changes in blood pressure (higher or lower)
- Low sodium levels
- Low blood sugar
Seglentis serious side effects
Contact your healthcare provider immediately if you experience any of the following.
- Dangerously slow breathing
- Opioid overdose: not responding to sound or touch, extremely slow breathing, extreme sleepiness, slow heartbeat, cold or clammy skin
- Opioid withdrawal: anxiety, suicidal thoughts, restlessness, irritability, runny nose, yawning, sweating, chills, wide pupils
- Heart attack: trouble breathing; chest pain or tightness that moves to the arm, neck, or jaw; sweating
- Heart failure: trouble breathing, tiredness, swelling in your body, sudden weight gain
- Stroke: blurred vision, difficulty speaking, difficulty walking, weakness on one side of the body, severe headache
- Stomach or gut bleed: blood in your vomit, stool that looks like black coffee grounds, pain in your stomach that doesn't go away
- Serious allergic reaction or serious skin reaction: fever, body aches, cough, rash, hives, peeling skin, painful blisters all over the body, trouble breathing, swelling of the face
- Serotonin syndrome: fast heart rate, sweating, muscle stiffness or spasms, fever, confusion
- Seizure
