PENTOXIFYLLINE reduces leg pain or cramping during exercise or walking in people with poor circulation. It works by increasing blood flow and the amount of oxygen that gets to your muscles. This decreases symptoms, so you can walk farther without discomfort. It belongs to a group of medications called antiplatelets.
