Typical dosage for Paclitaxel
Your provider will determine your dose of Paclitaxel based on your body surface area (BSA) in units of m2, which takes into consideration height and weight.
- You’ll receive Paclitaxel as an infusion through the vein (IV), given by a healthcare provider. The specific dose and how often you receive it depends on the cancer and your individual treatment plan. Usually, it’s given once every 3 weeks, but can be given as often as once a week.
