What Is Nausea?

Nausea is a feeling that causes the urge to vomit. Nausea can be a symptom of many different things such as pregnancy, motion sickness, food poisoning, anxiety, headache, and dizziness.

Treatment for nausea includes taking medication. Common drug classes used to treat nausea are anticholinergics, antiemetics, cannabinoids, carbonic anhydrase inhibitors, dopamine receptor antagonists, NK1 receptor antagonists, serotonin antagonists, and typical antipsychotics.
