Typical dosage for Mydriacyl

The dose depends on the type of eye procedure you're having done. Mydriacyl is available in a 0.5% and 1% solution.

  • For refraction procedures: The typical dose is 1 to 2 drops of the 1% solution into the eye(s). Repeat in 5 minutes.
  • For examination of the fundus: The typical dose is 1 to 2 drops of the 0.5% solution into the eye(s) about 15 to 20 minutes before your eye exam.
