Inluriyo

Used for Breast Cancer

IMLUNESTRANT treats breast cancer. It works by blocking the hormone estrogen in breast tissue, which prevents breast cancer cells from spreading or growing. Compare estrogen antagonists.

What should I tell my doctor?

They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

  • Liver disease
  • An unusual reaction to imlunestrant, other medications, foods, dyes, or preservatives
  • If you or your partner are pregnant or trying to get pregnant
  • Breastfeeding

How should I use this drug?

Take this medication by mouth. Take it as directed on the prescription label at the same time every day. Do not cut, crush, or chew this medication. Swallow the tablets whole. Take it on an empty stomach, at least 2 hours before or 1 hour after food. Your care team may change your dose or tell you to stop taking this medication if you get side effects. Do not change your dose or stop taking it unless your care team tells you to.

This medication is not approved for use in children.

What if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can, unless it is 6 hours or more late. If it is 6 hours or more late, skip that dose. Take your next dose at the normal time. Do not take double or extra doses.

If you vomit after taking your dose, do not take another dose. Take your next dose at your normal time the next day.

Where should I store this drug?

Keep out of the reach of children and pets.

Store between 20 and 25 degrees C (68 and 77 degrees F). Get rid of any unused medication after the expiration date.

To get rid of medications that are no longer needed or have expired:

  • Take the medication to a take-back program. Check with your pharmacy or law enforcement to find a location.
  • If you cannot return the medication, ask your pharmacist or care team how to get rid of it safely.
