About Emgality
Emgality (galcanezumab-gnlm) is used to prevent migraine headaches. Emgality is a CGRP receptor antagonist, which works by blocking a protein that is released during migraine attacks. The most common form of Emgality is a 125mg pen. It is also available as a syringe. There are currently no generic alternatives for Emgality. It is covered by most Medicare and insurance plans, but manufacturer and pharmacy coupons can help offset the cost.
