Dimetapp Cold & Allergy

Each 10 mL of Dimetapp Cold & Allergy contains 2 mg of brompheniramine and 5 mg of phenylephrine

Adult and children age 12 years and older: The typical dose is 20 mL by mouth every 4 hours. Don't take more than 6 doses in a 24-hour period.
Children age 6 years to under 12 years old: The typical dose is 10 mL by mouth every 4 hours. Don't take more than 6 doses in a 24-hour period.
Children age younger than 6 years old: Don't take.

Ru-Hist D

Each tablet of Ru-Hist D contains 4 mg of brompheniramine and 10 mg of phenylephrine

Adult and children age 12 years and older: The typical dose is 1 tablet by mouth every 4 hours. Don't take more than 6 tablets in a 24-hour period.
Children age 6 years to under 12 years: The typical dose is 1/2 tablet by mouth every 4 hours. Don't take more than 3 tablets in a 24-hour period.
