Typical dosage for Alahist D

Each tablet contains 17 mg of pheniramine and 10 mg of phenylephrine.

Adults and children 12 years and older: The typical dose is 1 tablet by mouth every 4 hours. Don't take more than 6 tablets in a 24-hour period.
Children 6 to 11 years old: The typical dose is one-half of a tablet by mouth every 4 hours. Don't take more than 3 tablets in a 24-hour period.
